The Love of a Dog

As the famous Beatles song says,

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

Well, that must include dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and all the other furry creatures that we lovingly adopt and look after in return for their affection. Just to prove that point, here’s my little George sharing a moment of tenderness with his latest conquest: Brianna’s teddy, Goldie.

There’s not much that I can add to this emotional evidence of true love, apart from: Love is in the air, everywhere you look aroundCan you feel it

  1. Ha! That’s so funny. Looks like it should be a greeting card to cheer you up!

  2. Hmm, not only is George sneaking a hug with Brianna’s teddy bear, Goldie, but it looks like he has made himself very comfortable on Brianna’s bed, too!

    • Oh, he’s a sneaky boy. He knows that Brianna loves to have him on her bed, so he takes advantage of it whenever he can. He’s not allowed to steal the teddies, though, but he still tries it every day. The day I took the photos he ‘disappeared’ and we went looking for him around the house only to find him on Brianna’s bed with Goldie in his arms.

  3. That’s my aww moment for today! He is just adorable with that teddy! Although, I’ve never seen him not adorable!

  4. Oh George, so pleased to see you are a teddy bear/soft toy dog too, my Whimpets are too and both have teddies they take to bed, although sometimes Connor gets a bit macho and takes a kong toy or his favourite blue ball to bed!
You look very cute with your (Brianna’s) toy!

    • Thanks, Annie. I had no doubt that your fur babies have their own soft toys, I can’t picture a whippet without a cuddly. Connor sounds like a real character. George has a blue ball, too, a hard rubber one, but I don’t think he’d ever take to bed with him. Too hard, I guess.

  5. Too funny. The first pic looks like he’s saying, ” If I lay real still, maybe they won’t notice the Teddy Bear.”
